A score in my book!) // Heels: Mix No. 6 at DSW (here; some of my faves! Only $35!) // Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington (here, wearing 32 mm! Check out my Insta gram HERE for a 15% off code!)

Happy New Year's Eve Eve, dolls!
I am so excited to share this post with y'all today! We are actually in the car on our way to Savannah, GA for a fun NYE weekend (don't worry - hubby is driving while I blog lol). I know I don't normally post blogs on Saturday, but I had to share this look with y'all in case you're still looking for a NYE #OOTN!
So, let's face it, you can't go wrong with sequins for New Year's Eve (or any formal event for that matter). When I saw this black sequin number in H&M this week, I knew I had to buy it for our trip!!! One problem I have had with some sequin pieces in the past is that they are incredibly itchy. However, this dress is NOT itchy in the slightest!! It is completely lined, AND the dress is actually made of velvet (a huge trend for this winter) so it's soft!!! I love the look of a long-sleeve dress because it adds a touch of class, plus it's so cold out for NYE it adds a little warmth.
If I had a NYE party indoors to attend, I would definitely wear this dress as I have styled it in these pictures. This year, since we are actually going to be outside for a good bit of our evening on NYE, I am planning on pairing my dress with tights & boots. This dress is DEFINITELY versatile so don't shy away because it makes such a statement! Oh, and I paired it with simple jewelry so that the sequins can do all the talking! Haha!
If you follow me on Instagram (here), you may have seen where I got a bar cart as a Christmas present from my parents! I have wanted one of these FOREVER and when I saw this one at At Home, I decided it needed to make its way into our place! So far, I styled it for Christmas and placed it as a sort of "end table" at one end of our couch. But, for NYE, I thought I would show y'all how versatile a bar cart really is! You can seriously change the total look of it with just different accessories. For NYE, I had to throw on some sparkling grape juice, flutes, NYE hats/party favors, a NYE candle, and THE cutest NYE banner!!! If we were having friends over, this would be the perfect way to serve drinks as a sort of "drink station" to add extra, FASHIONABLE, counter space!!! I could not be happier with this purchase. I have linked an almost identical bar cart in the widget above, and also in the text underneath the pictures above!
SOOOO what are y'alls plans for NYE!? We are so excited to be in Savannah, eat lots of yummy food, and just be together to celebrate the upcoming New Year!!
Thank you SO much for reading and following along with my blog. I love you ALL!!!!
XOXO
Ashley
