Only 4 more sleeps until Christmas, y'all!!!
Who else still has presents to wrap!? If y'all could see through my screen, you would see me raising my hand high lol. We have Christmas parties & get togethers all weekend, so I better get to wrapping tomorrow!! Anyway, I wanted to share another Christmas look with y'all tonight if you're looking for some Christmas #ootd inspiration (see my other holiday looks I have styled here, here and here)!
For this look, I decided to go a little more casual because if you are like my family, we tend to have a more casual lunch/dinner on Christmas Eve/Day! I am just so in love with plaid for Christmas, and when I saw THIS dress at Old Navy, I knew it had to make its way into my wardrobe and it would be perfect to style for a Christmas look. I added one of my favorite H&M sweaters HERE for a layered look! I think it gives a touch of prep to layer a solid colored sweater with a plaid dress. Plus, it breaks up the monotony of a solid plaid dress and adds a new texture to the look! To see another way I styled a plaid dress before, check out my look HERE (would also be so cute for Christmas - instead of white, add a red sweater!). To add even more interest to this look, I once again added my fave Berkshire polka dotted leggings - seriously too cute with plaid right?! Be sure to stay tuned to my Instagram account tomorrow for a discount code for my gorgeous Daniel Wellington watch. I seriously have been wearing it non-stop!
I also wanted to say a little side note about posting so much red lately. Of course I have been showing so much red because nothing says Merry Christmas like red, but I also just wanted to say that my precious Mawmaw's favorite color of all time was red. She passed away in 2008, but I still think of her so often and miss her tremendously! I wish I could talk to her and wish she could meet my husband because I know she would love him. She had such a sweet, gentle nature and was such a woman of God. She LOVED Christmas and truly celebrated the REAL reason for the season and the birth of our Lord & Savior! Anyway - side note but just had to share why red really is special to me this season and always!
Thanks so much for reading dolls!!! I will check in one more time before Christmas...be sure to stay tuned to my Instagram HERE for all the holiday fun I am up to! Love y'all!!!!
XOXO
