Bows, Sequins & Polka Dots!

Happy Weekend sweeties!
If you've been reading my blog for a little while now, or if you know me in real life, you KNOW I absolutely ADORE anything girly (see evidence HERE, HERE, or HERE)! This includes but is not limited to bows, sequins, & polka dots. So you could say the outfit I'm wearing below is quintessentially me. I bought this top back in March but haven't worn it yet, and these shorts are some I bought at Forever 21 last year (see how I've styled them before HERE). I decided that the bow shirt & the polka dotted shorts were a match made in fashion heaven! Oh, and I couldn't forget to add some more bows with my heels, earrings & bracelet! So here's how I styled my OOTD....

Hi dolls!
Happy Wednesday! I've been doing some major cleaning out these past few weeks, and when that happens I always manage to find things in my closet I completely forgot I have! Enter the dress I'm featuring in this post! I absolutely love maxi dresses...I'm short but I feel like they give the illusion of me being taller, haha. Also I love the pattern on this dress with the big flowers. I threw on a hat for good measure and my new sandals I bought a couple of weeks ago :) Hope y'all enjoy my OOTN!

Happy Memorial Day, y'all!! :)
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I just wanted to check in and do a little OOTD post from an outfit I wore this weekend. :) So, I've been really into gold jewelry lately! I was so excited when my Nana sent me a few things for me to sell in a yard sale my friends and I had this weekend & I found a few pretty gold pieces to keep for myself! In my OOTD below I'm wearing a gold bangle & chain link necklace both from my Nana! Don't you just love family jewelry? It not only is beautiful but has super special meaning. I know I can pass these pieces down to my future children one day! :) I've also been on a coral-kick lately...it is definitely of my favorite colors for the summer months. It's so beachy and summery! So what's better than gold & coral together for summer (and Memorial Day weekend)? I've got the answer: nothing! :)

Today I wanted to do a post featuring a few items that I'm hoping to purchase for the summer! :) Read below for a description of each!
Today I wanted to do a post featuring a few items that I'm hoping to purchase for the summer! :) Read below for a description of each!
1. I have been wanting a full midi skirt for some time now! It would look SO cute this summer with a tank top and strappy sandals. I love the fullness of the skirt. The midi skirt is seriously classy and timeless! The one I featured above is from ASOS. I love the blue!
2. This bracelet by Stella & Dot would look so awesome with an arm party. Totally versatile! A definite must-have this summer. I have a thing for Stella & Dot jewelry. Their pieces seriously always make a statement.
3. Speaking of making a statement, a bright bold handbag is on my wish list for this summer! Just imagine how cute a bright bag would look with a summer sundress. I spotted this one above at Target and I need to go back to buy it soon :)
4. I have loved this Kate Spade watch for some time now (no pun intended :)). It's so girly and classic. It would also look great with an arm party this summer and a summer tan!
5. These Tory Burch wedges are SO pretty! What's not to love about these wedges? From the eyelet pattern to the bow, these are literally perfect. AND they are on sale right now! Another purchase that needs to be made. I love wedges as a cute but comfortable alternative to heels in the summer! :)
6. Finally, I am on the lookout for a super cute pair of sandals before my beach vacation in June. These Kate Spade sandals would be PERFECT. I mean how great would tan sandals look to show off your tan toes? And another bow....I mean what's not to love!? :)

Hi beautiful readers!
Hope y'all are having a fabulous week so far. So yesterday I had off work and went to visit one of my best friends in the whole world, Stacey. She and I were college roommates and we have been through so much together. She is so incredibly precious to me! :) So going on a mini solo road trip to visit her in Knoxville, I wanted to wear something comfy for my drive but also cute. A sundress in my book definitely fits this description. I just love how simple and easy a sundress is but it also provides an instant, put-together ensemble! :) The dress I'm wearing below was a find from Ross. The cut-out detail in the back had me sold (I just love dresses/tops with interesting details in the back)! I also love how well it goes with my navy & white striped Jessica Simpson wedges! Here is how my look turned out (and also some pics with my BFF Stacey!)....
I also thought I would show y'all another way to wear this dress. Adding a denim jacket is one of my favorite ways to make a dress more casual! A denim jacket is definitely another one of my wardrobe staples!....
