Comfy, Casual, Chic
December 27, 2013
Hello fabulous readers!
I hope everyone had the most special Christmas holiday! I treasured every minute I had with those I love the most and I hope you all made some wonderful memories. Today I wanted to show you an outfit that I have been loving wearing lately: a plaid shirt (see my recent posts featuring plaid), sweater, jeans, riding boots, a statement necklace, and a classic VEST! So I have been finding myself constantly wearing this down feather vest from Gap that I bought a while ago. I have always loved layering, and this vest is the perfect final touch over a sweater & plaid shirt combo! I highly recommend adding a vest to your wardrobe as a staple item. Here's how my look turned out....
Plaid Shirt: F21
Sweater: H&M
Vest: Gap
Necklace: Charming Charlie
Watch: Charming Charlie (here)
Riding Boots: Frye (here)
What's your go-to comfy, casual, chic look!?
Thanks so much for reading!
XOXO

Graphic Sweater Trend!
December 19, 2013
Hi dolls!
One trend I have loved this fall/winter is the graphic sweater! For those who may not know what I mean by "graphic sweater," I'm talking mostly about super cute animals that are featured on the sweater. Most of the sweaters I have seen in the stores have had an animal face/body just sewn directly on the sweater (such as THIS sweater from Old Navy). I LOVE those, but I also am obsessed with sequins & beadwork....so I was pretty excited when I found a graphic sweater with the leopard face completely made from sequins & beads at H&M in NYC. I knew I had to grab it immediately! I have worn it a few times solo, but I also loved the way it looked a bit more polished with a plaid shirt underneath (check it out HERE). Here's how my look turned out!!!

Plaid Lovin!
December 13, 2013
Hi dolls!
Thank you so much for everyone who read my last post! It's so good to be back. So since the holiday seasons are fast approaching, there's honestly nothing I love more than a good plaid. It's perfect for Christmas! I found a couple of plaid shirts I loved at Target by Merona (check it out at http://m.target.com/p/merona-women-s-favorite-shirt-prints/-/A-14649145). In the OOTN below, I paired a basic black & white plaid with red accessories. Nothing better than classic black & white with a touch of red! Here's how my look turned out...
Thanks so much for reading y'all!!!! I appreciate each and every one of you!!!
XOXO,
Ashley
My Favorite Sweater Dress!
December 9, 2013
Hello dolls!!!
Wow, I can't tell you how good it feels to FINALLY have the time to blog. To sit down at the kitchen table, with the Christmas tree in eyesight and my MacBook browser open to a new, fresh, blank page on Blogger for me to write an OOTD post after it's been so long!!! Oh, sweet Christmas Break, you are finally here and I am SO happy to see you! It's time to get my blogging on and I couldn't be more thrilled!!!
So my first post is going to be a little OOTD recap of my favorite sweater dress this season from Old Navy...the "Women's Terry-Fleece Shift Dress." I bought this dress when the weather was still warm, back in September, and knew it would be the perfect cold-weather dress for my fall/winter wardrobe. I loved the 3/4th length sleeves and the grey and black stripes (stripes are one of my favorite patterns, always and forever!). A sweater dress is definitely a must-have for any fall or winter wardrobe as it is just an easy, go-to look! I also decided to pair it with a red scarf. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a pop of red against a basic black and grey color palette. Here's how my look turned out!
