Summer Essential: White Jeans

Hi there gorgeous readers! 

 White jeans are always on my list as an essential item for a summer wardrobe. They are PERFECT for a chilly summer night because they're not as heavy as blue jeans and of course, they're WHITE, so it's instantly more "summery". The night I wore them at the beach, I promise you I changed my outfit probably 4 times because I just couldn't decide what to wear because I knew we would be spending some time outside, and I'm cold-natured as can be (yeah I know....typical girl!). I first picked out shorts and wedges with a jacket....but then I stepped outside on the porch and decided I would be WAY too cold for that, since we were walking on the beach to dinner & playing putt putt after. SO that meant it was PERFECT to break out my white jeans!!! I bought mine at Gap Outlet and I LOVE the way they fit. They are so comfortable and are the perfect length (being 5'3 and 1/2 means you have to be concerned with the length of your jeans!). I styled them with my white wedges, a grey & white ruffled sleeveless top and a denim jacket! It turned out to be a great choice for a chilly summer evening....

After my mini OOTN photoshoot (thanks fiancé) I threw off the wedges for a walk on the beach. There's really nothing like a beach walk to dinner at sunset!!! (PS: you can't tell by the iPhone pics below, but Mr. Dodson is wearing a Ralph Lauren blue & white seersucker hat. Boy's got some serious style!!!!).
