Hello dolls!
The first night when we arrived, we ate dinner at this amazing little Italian restaurant called the Italian Barrel. I was ready to change out of my travel clothes & put on something a little nicer so I went with black & white polka dots with a punch of red!
For the wedding I went with a bright color combination: hot pink + turquoise (I didn't actually end up wearing the hat to the wedding...it was supposed to be an outdoor wedding but changed to indoors):
One of the first shops we went into was called Langford Market on 907 Decatur Street. I absolutely LOVED trying on clothes here...they had so many cute things:
How was everyone's weekend?! Mine was definitely a memorable one! You may know via Facebook or Twitter, but I spent this weekend livin' it up in the Big Easy aka Nawlins aka NOLA! I went down with my family for my big brother's wedding and it was a blast!!! NOLA definitely has some of the best food and shopping! I honestly can say I'm super excited to go back one day. So I thought I would do a little recap of my trip & show you some of the highlights (oh and also my OOTDs & OOTNs)!
Sweater: U-Knit
Belt: NY & Co
Jeans: Jessica Simpson
Flip flops: Yellow Box

The next day was the wedding day! Before the ceremony we had a delicious breakfast at a place called Stanley's. I went with a very casual outfit:
T-Shirt: Philosphy Skirt: Miley Cyrus (yes from Wal-Mart...hahaha don't judge) Flip flops: Yellow Box |
Tank: GAP Shorts (orange belt included): H&M Leopard print scarf: H&M |
We also went out on Bourbon Street that night....
On our last day I wore a sun dress for a day of shopping and eating! I just love warm weather because there is seriously nothing as easy, cute & comfortable as a sun dress.
That morning we had breakfast at the world famous Cafe Du Monde:
After breakfast it was time to hit the shops of NOLA! Of course we first had to go by the French Market which was mostly just kind of "junky" items...but I did find the mask I'm wearing in the first picture at the top of this post! Besides the French Market, there were some amazing boutiques which sold really unique items that I wouldn't be able to find in Tennessee. I was so excited with all my purchases.

One of my purchases from Langford Market were these red shorts pictured here. They are super cute...very retro!!! I love them! |
I also bought this blue/yellow sleeveless blouse! Excited to pair it with jeans or even shorts this summer. |
