Welcome to my first post on my new blog Ashley's Passion for Fashion! I've always wanted to start a fashion blog and finally decided now is as good a time as any! As evident by my blog title, fashion is one of my biggest passions...I love following new trends & reading others' fashion blogs. I have thought of so many ideas for blog posts and can't wait to get started! Not only will I do fashion posts but I'm also planning on doing some nail posts (so many people have told me I should start a nail blog!). Now on to the first topic of my very first post...
If you follow the fashion world you know that Missoni, the Italian fashion label that dates back to 1953, released an exclusive line for Target yesterday. I absolutely LOVE the idea of Target partnering with luxury fashion designers to bring a line normally sold in high-end department stores for thousands of $$$ to the one and only Tarjay! Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Missoni, I AM a lover of all things fashion & knew I had to check it out. Most things were incredibly picked over by the time I went this afternoon:

HOWEVER, I made my way to the back of the store to the shoe aisle & was so excited to find this great pair of shoes AND in my size (lucky #7!):

I acutally loved the Missoni checkered pattern on the toe (usually I'm not that crazy about the crazy color combos that Missoni uses) BUT with the neutral colors I know I will be able to wear these with so many things!!! I can't wait to pair them this fall with skinny jeans or with tights & a dress/skirt. In fact maybe I will pair them with the Missoni tights I also bought from the line...
They also had these in navy blue & maroon but I went with black so I can wear them with more!! These will look great with a dress or skirt when the weather gets chilly.
